Loyalty At It's Finest

There are some places in Colorado that you would just love to bring home with you as a memento. Now you can! Well as a T-shirt memento, that is.

Moose Jaw in Frisco, Johnson's Corner and Stella's Coffeehaus on South Pearl Street are just are few of the great Colorado landmark T-shirts that you can find at LoyalTee, a Denver-based T-shirt collective, has launched a line of shirts that feature Denver's beloved independent businesses and some of Colorado's unique and legendary hotspots around the state.

The site features eight different designs right now with more coming down the pipeline shortly. The owners, Andrea Burns and Todd Culter, make the shirts to remind people that Colorado's scenic beauty isn't the only thing that makes this state unique. We should all go out and discover what's interesting about our town or the town we're visiting. Plus a portion of each sale goes back to the featured business.

Now that's worth taking home with you.

P.S.  Stop by Fuel Cafe tonight between 5:30-9:30 p.m. to learn about the Denver Yard Harvest and what will be going on this fall. Grab a beer and bite while doing so! They collect leftover food from members' yards (apples, plums, cherries, etc.) and deliver it to day care centers, homes for the elderly, community kitchens and other organizations that serve people in need of healthy, fresh food.

Denver Yard Harvest Kickoff Party, Thursday, June 16, 5:30-9:30 p.m., Fuel Cafe, 3455 Ringsby Court,
