When I moved to Denver a few years ago, a city that I was completely unfamiliar with, all I wanted was an easy and convenient way to find out what was happening around town. I love being 'in the know' about what new restaurants are opening; which store is having the best sample sale next week and where to find the best vineyard on the way up the hill to grab a glass of wine on your way out of town would be. So I decided to create a website to help the rest of Denver stay in the loop of what's going on in and around town. Weekly emails full of great 'nuggets' info are sent out to free subscribers each Thursday to make sure they never miss that great sample sale again. I hope you enjoy receiving your weekly Nugget as much as I enjoy scouting them out.

I have lived in Denver since 2004 when I moved away from the Midwest. As exciting as the cornfields of Indiana were, Colorado is definitely the place for me. Denver has it all as far as I'm concerned: natural beauty, shopping, art and great restaurants! I live in the Wash Park area with my husband, Nick, and our two puppies. I'm thrilled to be a part of The Nugget and can't wait to explore the softer, indulgent side of Denver.
Favorites: 90 minute Swedish massages, Sephora, Steak House 10, Reading a great book on my patio with a glass of wine, LOST, Chuck and the fact that I can rationalize any beauty-related purchase. Try me!

My greatest dream of moving from the Midwest to Denver finally came true in 2004. My then boyfriend and I packed up our cars and drove the long 14 hours to fulfill our destiny of living the mountain/city lifestyle! Denver has become everything that we had ever wanted and needed it to be. We bought our first sweet home in Washington Park, living there for four years. Last spring, we sold that house to buy something a little bigger to provide for our growing family. My husband, yellow lab, and bun in the oven now call the fast growing Highlands, 32nd and Lowell, home and love every second of living there.
Favorites: The Sushi Den, Pre-Teen Fantasy Novels, Days Filled with Sunshine, and living in a place where there are dogs in almost every house and their owners treat them as the second children they really are.

I am a Denver native, but after moving away for college and spending a few years in California post-college, Denver felt like a completely new city upon my return. I live in Cory-Merrill (just south of Bonnie Brae) with my husband, Matt, and our chocolate lab, Bear. I love Denver, not only because I am from here, but more importantly, because it is such an incredible city. There is so much to do - many great restaurants to try, fun events and happenings always going on, and so much to explore. Not to mention, we have the mountains in our backyard and 300+ days of sunshine to boot. I am thrilled to be a part of The Nugget!
Favorites: Traveling, wine, cooking at home, entertaining, Bravo reality tv, the mountains, trying new restaurants, tailgating, interior decorating, and spending time with my husband, friends and family .

As a Colorado native, I grew up in a small farm community north of Denver, but had city aspirations. After college, I moved to Denver and never looked back. My career here has run the gamut, from administration for the Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Company, to an editor for a large corporate newswire service called Business Wire, to my current job: a project manager for a small software start-up. But what I really want to be when I grow up is a writer. I have two completed novels Im working to get published, and do freelance web content writing and editing of all sorts on the side. Living in this great state and city has allowed me to pursue my dream life, and do it with beautiful surroundings, culture and class, and friendly, talented people everywhere I turn.
Favorites: Biking around Aspen, beach vacations, the banya treatment at Izba Spa, books of all kinds, jogging Sloan's Lake on a sunny day, Rockies games, Common Era clothing boutique
